One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Star found a gap and took the lead.
Royal Pride followed before
Heat Is On. Penny To Penny showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

Star was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m.
Heat Is On galloped for 60m and was disqualified.
Runs With Class started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
Royal Pride sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Penny To Penny was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.
Penny To Penny was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.
Penny To Penny galloped for 60m and was disqualified.
Flying
Star sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Alexander Heisholt tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Penny To Penny started to galopp and lost 20 m.
Penny To Penny galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.
Royal Pride won.
South Pacific came in second.

Star caught third place.
