One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sunflower took the lead after a very quick start.

Bear saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
The leader got disturbed by something and
The Golden Boy took the lead rather easily.
The Golden Boy was still in the lead after 1500m.
The Golden Boy looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
