It had been raining for several days at Eskilstuna but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Conversation Piece sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

Ghostly Pie saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Breaking Tropic started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Breaking Tropic sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

With only a little left of the race Little Pie galoped for 50 m. With only a little left of the race Breaking Tropic galoped for 20 m. Breaking Tropic sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Heavenly Rocket galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Opposing Wish won the race after a spectacular finish.
