Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Solänget track was in top-condition.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Empire Red Planet could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.
This is the positions after 500m. Destiny, Nova Space, Hirmumyrsky Jalas, Bon A Parte, Typhoon Hunter, Monkey Star, Spring Is Here, Empire Red Planet.
The leader got disturbed by something and Typhoon Hunter took the lead rather easily.
Gemacht In Himmel saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Honourable
Power started to gallop after 1500m and Jorma Kontio had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Empire Red Planet started to gallop after 1500m and Johnny Takter had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Gemacht In Himmel kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
She Suits Me sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
