One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Scout could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Unknown was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.
Bludgeon Of Narva was in fine shape and held the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
Golden Elite looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that

Creeping Mind.

Almost Honest galoped for 50 m. driver couldn't keep
Almost Honest to trotting so they were disqualified.
