One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Viridiflora could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Icarus Rebel quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Brigette looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Viridiflora couldn't come out from behind the leader, Icarus Rebel. Icarus Rebel suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Icarus Rebel was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Compagno gallopped for 20 m.



Icarus Rebel were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Icarus Rebel didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
