One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pom Duchess was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Stopping Power started to galop and lost 20 m.




Modest Raspberry quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Modest Raspberry was still in the lead after 1500m.



Modest Raspberry looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Stopping Power won the race after a spectacular finish.
