The sun was shining on Halmstad and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Whispering Grove sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Borella saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Icarus Rebel started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Criminal Tropic sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Borella was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Criminal Tropic today. It continued in the lead.




Criminal Tropic was still in the lead after 2000m.



Criminal Tropic sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Stefan Persson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Equalizer started to galopp and lost 10 m.




No-one could catch Criminal Tropic today who won before Chills Me and Heavenly Dream.
