The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Örebro this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Coughing Darkness found a gap and took the lead. Montay Bia followed before Calligaris.




Calligaris quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Coughing Darkness looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Montay Bia couldn't come out from behind the leader, Calligaris. Montay Bia was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Calligaris was still in the lead after 1500m.



Calligaris sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Coughing Darkness showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Calligaris didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
