Only a humble breeze blew over Kannus this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Swinging Necklace could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Striking Viper suddenly started to galop. Seppo Markkula had to struggle to get Striking Viper to tror again and succeded after 40 m.

Haegeman took the lead after 1000m. Gorgeous Daffodil didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Gorgeous Daffodil accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Gorgeous Daffodil kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Haegeman made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Ögonfröjd.
