It had been raining for several days at Biri but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bohumil tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Lucky Gold that came steaming ahead. Magnus Teien Gundersen wanted a little to much in the start and Jopie galoped for 20 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Borella took the lead rather easily.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Borella today. It continued in the lead.




Borella didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Borella sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Borella. Lucky Gold came in second. Bohumil became third.
