The sun was shining on Lapua and it was a perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Climbing Star sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Climbing Star started to galop and lost 20 m. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Francena sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Estradỗr Moot suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m. Weightloss Moot accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Francena started to gallop after 1500m and Hannu Torvinen had to struggle to get it back in trotting. driver couldn't keep Gorilla Zoe to trotting so they were disqualified. Weightloss Moot were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Climbing Star sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy. Results
