The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Kokkola this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mitezoya tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Toro Di Palermo that came steaming ahead. driver couldn't keep Moon Maker to trotting so they were disqualified.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Mitezoya was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Boniface took the lead after 1000m. Dragon Oxzygo didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Mitezoya was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Dragon Oxzygo looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Dragon Oxzygo kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Jean Baptiste won. Toro Di Palermo came in second. Dragon Oxzygo caught third place.
