The weather had been good all week and Lappeenranta was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Lone Energy. Sweet Swede ended up behind the leader. Flying Judge got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Kvarngärdets Once In A Blue Moon quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Maximum Lizard took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Maximum Lizard followed by Elegant Sparrow and Sweet Swede. Lane two Lone Energy followed by Flower Princess and Kvarngärdets Once In A Blue Moon.



Maximum Lizard were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






No-one could catch Maximum Lizard today who won before Elegant Sparrow and Lone Energy.
