Only a humble breeze blew over Åby this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Counterfeit Jewel was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Styxon Ciniferalis started to galop and lost 50 m.




Counterfeit Jewel was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
