It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Pom Duchess. Diego Yolo ended up behind the leader. Stifling Trap got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Tough Gladiator quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Tough Gladiator followed by Stifling Trap and Diego Yolo. Lane two Pom Duchess followed by Vereinigte Ehre and Pointing Godiva.

With only a little left of the race Tough Gladiator galoped for 30 m. Pom Duchess litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Stifling Trap sprinted over the finishline before Pom Duchess and Vereinigte Ehre.
