One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Wolly Pony was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Criminal Lady Of The Night started to galop and lost 40 m. Esteri was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

Verenigde Eer saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Montrucchio looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Atlantic Design couldn't come out from behind the leader, Verenigde Eer. Telesio galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

With only a little left of the race Advanced Blast galoped for 10 m. Criminal Lady Of The Night showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Coughing Cocktail was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Atlantic Design looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Esteri couldn't come out from behind the leader, Verenigde Eer.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Criminal Lady Of The Night galop. Criminal Lady Of The Night lost 40 m.

Atlantic Design sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
