One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Victoria Victorias sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Kiwi Lore showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

Victoria Victorias was in fine shape and held the lead. Eternal Doll galloped way to long and was disqualified.

The leader got disturbed by something and Alberte took the lead rather easily. driver couldn't keep Eternal Doll to trotting so they were disqualified.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Alberte today. It continued in the lead.

Alberte kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Alberte kept the speed the whole finish and won before Victoria Victorias and Acapulco.
