The sun was shining on Åby and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Thinking Lizard. Beretta ended up behind the leader. Make You Smile got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Powerful Blast quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Thinking Lizard sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Thinking Lizard today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Make You Smile gallopped for 20 m.

Thinking Lizard were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Thinking Lizard didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
