The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Färjestad today.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Mi Gar Go could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.
This is the positions after 500m. Golden Prince, Mi Gar Go, Mitezoya, Powerful Blast, Brown Runner, Beaujolais, , .
Golden Prince clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.
Mitezoya accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.
Mitezoya kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Beaujolais galoped way to long and was disqualified.
Mi Gar Go won the race after a spectacular finish.
