The sun was shining on Mantorp today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Jumping Needle could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Whispering Amazon quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Speeding Delight sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Minou galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Speeding Delight followed by Jumping Needle and Barefoot Viper. Lane two Whispering Amazon followed by Stone Gossard and Minou.




Speeding Delight didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Speeding Delight looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Speeding Delight kept the speed the whole finish and won before Jumping Needle and Whispering Amazon.
