It had been raining for several days at Tornio but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Scared One was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.
Zambrotta Speed quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop Zambrotta Speed today. It continued in the lead.
Gioiello Signora litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
Opposing Passion galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.
Gioiello Signora didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
