The sun was shining on Jägersro and it was a perfect day for trotting.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Pommard sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Monsoon suddenly started to galop. Dion Tesselaar had to struggle to get Monsoon to tror again and succeded after 50 m.
Adora quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
Adora clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.
Adora was still in the lead after 1500m. driver couldn't keep
Forgues to trotting so they were disqualified.
Pommard was first on the homestretch followed by
Yankee and
Monsoon.
Yankee made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before
Pommard.
