Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Lapua track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ojsan Latmask took the lead after a very quick start. Powerful Satellite galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Fortræffelig Løb saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Corbett sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Ojsan Latmask was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Corbett was still in the lead after 1500m. Tropical Thought showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.



Corbett sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Fortræffelig Løb galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.
