Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Lucinda Cherry sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and Waħdu sprinted to the front.
Waħdu clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Waħdu followed by Lucinda Cherry and Stopping Runner. Lane two Manjira Moussolou followed by Hartmans Law and Scarlet Hollywood.
Waħdu sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Manjira Moussolou never caught up with Waħdu who won. Lucinda Cherry came third.
