One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Winmachine tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to
Sunny Day Walker that came steaming ahead.
There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of
Sunny Day Walker who started to galop and lost 10 m.
Sunny Day Walker clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.
Sunny Day Walker was still in the lead after 1500m.
Twisted Wish was first on the homestretch followed by
Sunny Day Walker and
Sleepy Daffodil.
Sunny Day Walker won the race after a spectacular finish.
