The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Goretti found a gap and took the lead. Monsoon followed before Trainer Express. Örjan Kihlström wanted a little to much in the start and Acapulco galoped for 30 m.




Goretti was in fine shape and held the lead. Goretti was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Fighting Runner sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Fighting Runner was still in the lead after 1500m.



Fighting Runner looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Goretti galopped for 40 m on the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Snowy Platinum galop. Snowy Platinum lost 40 m.




Monsoon sprinted over the finishline before Fighting Runner and Super Duper.
