One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Strong Admiral was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Dogon started to galop and lost 10 m.

Dogon quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Platinum Angel looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Strong Admiral couldn't come out from behind the leader, Dogon. Starstruck Dreamcatcher was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Platinum Angel looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Platinum Angel kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

No-one could catch Platinum Angel today who won before Strong Admiral and Dogon.
