One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Advanced Map tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to
Sophisticated Diamond that came steaming ahead. driver couldn't keep Front
Boulder to trotting so they were disqualified.
Echo Gamble quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
Echo Gamble clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.
Haspengouw looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.
Sophisticated Diamond was first on the homestretch followed by
Haspengouw and
Echo Gamble.

Echo Gamble.
