The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.
Singing Fiesta tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Volvoette that came steaming ahead.
Célesse quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
Scarlet Sapphire took the lead after 1000m. Singing Fiesta didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Scarlet Sapphire followed by Singing Fiesta and Connolys Law. Lane two Volvoette followed by Red Stardust and Hogan Ink.
Volvoette speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
Scarlet Sapphire made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Volvoette.
