One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Black Muscle. Touch The Sky ended up behind the leader. Nessla Forever got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Langeais Ameste started to galop and lost 50 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Annapurna Cherry followed by Nessla Forever and Black Muscle. Lane two Garbutt followed by Walking Sunflower and Langeais Ameste.

Annapurna Cherry kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Langeais Ameste didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
