The sun was shining on Haapajärvi and it was a perfect day for trotting.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Clue found a gap and took the lead. Bol Rocker followed before Criminal Vichy Grif. Polished Mustache suddenly started to galop. Santtu Raitala had to struggle to get Polished Mustache to tror again and succeded after 10 m.
This is the positions after 500m. Bol Rocker, Waving Heat, Nessla Impossible, Screaming Energy, Clue, Criminal Vichy Grif, Forsióm Naspi, Old Wolf.
The leader got disturbed by something and Waving Heat took the lead rather easily.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop Waving Heat today. It continued in the lead.
Criminal Vichy Grif put some pressure on the leader and could take over.
Criminal Vichy Grif sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Clue sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
