One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Prima Darkness was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Shy Asteroid was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.
Perfect Giggle saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Fast Sergeant looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Charming Soldier couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Perfect Giggle.
Charming Soldier saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. driver couldn't keep
Perfect Giggle to trotting so they were disqualified.
Charming Soldier kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Prima Darkness won the race after a spectacular finish.
