One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Malkin Scout tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to
Just
Moon that came steaming ahead.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and
Mad Moment sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of
Daigle who started to galop and lost 50 m.
Malkin Scout sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Daigle galloped for 40 m.
Malkin Scout kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Caresse won the race after a spectacular finish.
