One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lonnell sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Lonnell was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Snake Eating Rat looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Advanced Scope couldn't come out from behind the leader, Lonnell.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Lonnell followed by Advanced Scope and . Lane two Snake Eating Rat followed by and . Something caused a disturbance in the field and Lonnell gallopped for 20 m.



Lonnell looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Snake Eating Rat won. Lonnell came in second. Advanced Scope caught third place.
