Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kalmar track was in top-condition.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Soft Touch sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Altesse Du Mirel to trotting so they were disqualified.
Prima Darkness quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
Floating
Flower looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that A Star Is Born C.C. couldn't come out from behind the leader, Prima Darkness.
A Star Is Born C.C. looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.
driver couldn't keep Dusty Cocktail to trotting so they were disqualified. A Star Is Born C.C. were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
Glowing Cookie galopped for 50 m on the homestretch. Dusty Cocktail galoped way to long and was disqualified.
A Star Is Born C.C. kept the speed the whole finish and won before Soft Touch and Prima Darkness.
