It had been raining for several days at Jyväskylä but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.
The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.
La Belfortaine took the lead after a very quick start. Markku Nieminen wanted a little to much in the start and La Belfortaine galoped for 20 m.

Smuk Handling took the lead after 1000m. I R Genius didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Kokoskon Cherry suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m. driver couldn't keep Angel Trgati to trotting so they were disqualified. Confident
Satellite showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
La Belfortaine was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. I R Genius took the lead after 1000m. Smuk Handling didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
