It had been raining for several days at Leangen but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Shooting General tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Arrested Again that came steaming ahead.

Comet, Shooting General, Stupidity Itself, , .

Comet sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Comet was still in the lead after 1500m.

Comet were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
Shooting General won the race after a spectacular finish.
