The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Romme this day.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Stepping Box found a gap and took the lead. Prima Meadow followed before Hicklo.
This is the positions after 500m. Snowy Valley, Hicklo, Screaming Strategy, Calming Mountain, Prima Meadow, Giggling Glitter, Stepping Box, Monday Fiber. A bird flew just in front of Sežaj Svoj who started to galop and lost 20 m.
The leader got disturbed by something and Hicklo took the lead rather easily.
Giggling Glitter accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.
Giggling Glitter kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Giggling Glitter didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
