Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Avril could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.
This is the positions after 500m. Adelante, Yolo Lucy, Henrietta, Tropical Godiva, Majestic Girl, Avril, Callitaday, Bright Cocktail.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Henrietta saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.
Yolo Lucy was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Henrietta were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Henrietta galop. Henrietta lost 30 m.
Adelante sprinted over the finishline before Tropical Godiva and Avril.
