Start List
The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Årjäng this day.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Shy Power tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Gooo Far that came steaming ahead.
This is the positions after 500m. Behind The Moon, Beaufort, Ladies Follow Me, Porta Pia, Shy Power, Big Snake, Gooo Far, Zoophobia.
The leader got disturbed by something and Big Snake took the lead rather easily.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop Big Snake today. It continued in the lead.
Big Snake didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.
Big Snake kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Shy Power never caught up with Big Snake who won. Ladies Follow Me came third.
