One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Gais On Fire sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.
This is the positions after 500m. Borga Echo, Expensive Needle, Stretching Viper, Black Scout, Gais On Fire, Johnny Guitar, Gladmod Cherry, Tiny Technology. Gais On Fire started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Rational Hyena showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
Borga Echo clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.
Borga Echo was still in the lead after 1500m.
Borga Echo kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Johnny Guitar sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
