One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Souvenir De Amour found a gap and took the lead. Boniface followed before Lavillenie. When the startcar left the field Lavillenie started to galop and lost 10 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

Lavillenie sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Outspoken Gentleman saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Souvenir De Amour suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Jungle Bow Wowwow made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Souvenir De Amour.
