It had been raining for several days at Sørlandet but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Raymond Reddington C.C. could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Powerful Bandwith started to galop and lost 20 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and The Globe From Harlem sprinted to the front.

Sweet But Psycho looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Newark couldn't come out from behind the leader, The Globe From Harlem.

The Globe From Harlem was still in the lead after 1500m.

Sweet But Psycho was first on the homestretch followed by Newark and Raymond Reddington C.C..

Newark won the race after a spectacular finish.
