The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Östersund this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Carlos Cherie. Awesome East One ended up behind the leader. Adieu Philippine got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Adieu Philippine, Stretching Ruby, Carlos Cherie, Focused Comet, Gagnez De L'argent, Awesome East One, Portable Snake, Perfect Whirlwind.

Carlos Cherie sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Hard Box galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Gagnez De L'argent looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Stretching Ruby was first on the homestretch followed by Adieu Philippine and Carlos Cherie.

Adieu Philippine made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Awesome East One.
