The weather had been good all week and Skellefteå was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Garda Hof found a gap and took the lead. Perfectly Flawed followed before Aegean Voyage.
Perfectly Flawed saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Garda Hof sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Garda Hof was still in the lead after 1500m.
Perfectly Flawed was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Garda Hof were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Perfectly Flawed galop. Perfectly Flawed lost 10 m.
Garda Hof didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
