The sun was shining on Lapua and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rebellious Sniper was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Örjanfrånbörjan, Serges Skärp Cherry, Giant Superman, Plaisantin, Scarlet Thinker, Rebellious Sniper, Portable Strategy, Narkissos Kronos. Sowing Knockout showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Portable Strategy galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.



With only a little left of the race Örjanfrånbörjan galoped for 10 m. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Portable Strategy was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sowing Knockout galop. Sowing Knockout lost 10 m.




Rebellious Sniper won the race after a spectacular finish.
