One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Bario Vox was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Jean-Michel Bazire wanted a little to much in the start and Whatever Lily galoped for 40 m. Happy Knight suddenly started to galop. Robert Bergh had to struggle to get Happy Knight to tror again and succeded after 10 m. Perfect Darkness suddenly started to galop. Johnny Takter had to struggle to get Perfect Darkness to tror again and succeded after 20 m.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and Ain Sefra sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Perfect Darkness who started to galop and lost 30 m.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Ingo Opal accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Whatever Ballerina galloped for 50 m.
Ingo Opal kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Running
Arraow galop. Running
Arraow lost 10 m.
Inkas Henya sprinted over the finishline before Ingo Opal and Happy Knight.
