One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Outspoken Action tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to
Maxime that came steaming ahead.
Dream Boy saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Purple Orchid took the lead after 1000m.
Dolce Progetto didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop
Purple Orchid today. It continued in the lead.
Dream Boy galloped for 60m and was disqualified.
Purple Orchid kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Dolce Progetto won the race after a spectacular finish.
