One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sweet Thunder could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Swinging Sparrow quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Swinging Sparrow was still in the lead after 1500m.



Swinging Sparrow sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Swinging Sparrow kept the speed the whole finish and won before Carlos Marinella and Relaxing Striker.
